President Paul Trible Will Speak at Lancaster High School Graduation

Paul Trible, president of Christopher Newport University, will deliver the commencement address at Lancaster High School on Thursday, June 13th. Prior to coming to CNU, Trible served as Commonwealth's Attorney of Essex County and for 12 years served in the United States House of Representatives and Senate.

Under Trible's leadership, CNU has been named by U. S. News and World Report as one of the best liberal arts colleges in the South and has become a university of choice for high ability students. Applications to CNU have exploded by more than 300%, the average SAT score for incoming freshmen has increased by almost 200 points and the CNU campus has been transformed by over $100 million in capital construction.
