Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli and CNU senior Anthony ColosimoItalian tenor Andrea Bocelli presented CNU senior Anthony Colosimo with a scholarship from the National Italian American Foundation during a luncheon at the Williamsburg Inn on Oct. 19. Colosimo also had the rare opportunity to perform next to Bocelli the following evening, singing before a sold-out audience of 1,700 at the Ferguson Center for the Arts.

Luter IV, Frances Luter, Larry PopeSmithfield Foods, Inc. through its Smithfield Luter Foundation, Inc. has committed a gift of $5 million to Christopher Newport University. These funds will be used to establish the Joseph W. Luter, III School of Business and a $1 million leadership scholarship program – to be matched dollar for dollar by CNU.
