CNU to hold annual 5K Race and Mile Walk on Sept. 15

(NEWPORT NEWS, Va.) - Christopher Newport University's Alumni Society and the Peninsula Track Club presents the 7th annual CNU Alumni Society / Oyster Pointer 5K Race and Mile Walk on Sept. 15.
This PTC Grand Prix event follows a flat, fast course through the beautiful Riverside Community in Newport News. The walk begins at 8 a.m., and the run at 8:30 a.m. behind the parking garage of CNU's Ferguson Center for the Arts.
Early registration for the walk is $8, and the run is $15 through Sept. 10. After that, the prices go up to $10 and $20. Students and military personnel are $10. Please call race director Mark Bernecker at (757) 220-9426 or visit alumni.cnu.edu for more information.
