CNU Business Students attend Leadership ConferenceNews Release - November 08, 2007 Media Contact:
CNU's National Contract Management Association received its official charter in 2006. The organization attracts students from all majors, including accounting, economics, finance, management, marketing, and government. The CNU NCMA meets monthly to host a series of guest speakers in addition to providing a forum for exploring the diverse field of contract management. Through professional networking and internship opportunities, a major thrust of this organization includes empowering student leaders with essential skills needed for a successful career in contract management. Members of the CNU NCMA chapter will also be eligible for scholarships. The Hampton Roads chapter of NCMA has announced that they will offer one or more scholarships each year. The number of scholarships will depend upon the number of applications received, strength of those applications, and funds available each program year. To be eligible, the student must be a full-time or part-time student in good standing, a business major, and a member of the Hampton Roads NCMA or CNU NCMA chapter. The purpose of the scholarship is to assist and encourage NCMA members to achieve a higher level of professionalism in contract management. The next CNU NCMA meeting will be November 29th at 6:30 p.m. in the Jefferson Room of the David Student Union. All students are invited to attend.
