CNU Ice Hockey Team Heads South After 19-1 Regular Season

The Captains were named the BRHC regular season champions, and were ranked third place in the American Collegiate Hockey Association’s South region. The team has earned a spot in the BRHC playoffs to battle for the entire BRHC championship. The Captains will be traveling to Duluth, Georgia this weekend to the South Regional Tournament to take on the Georgia Institute of Technology Yellow Jackets for a bid to the National championship tournament in Rochester, Minnesota. The team will also travel to Wilmington, NC on Feb. 22 to compete for the BRHC championship. This has been a remarkable year for the Captains, as they have been ranked in the top 10 all season and had a star player, Mark Wilkinson, recognized as one of the South’s Best; and achieving a near-perfect record.
