CNU Welcomes Popular Rock Band "Boys Like Girls"

“Boys Like Girls” is a four-member American pop rock band from Boston, Massachusettes. With band members including Martin Johnson, Paul DiGiovanni, Bryan Donahue, and John Keefe, this young and energetic group says their musical influences come from bands like Jimmy Eat World, Relient K, and Dashboard Confessional. Their debut album Boys Like Girls sold copies at an average rate of 10,000 copies per week in 2007. The CD spent over 21 weeks on Billboard Top 200 best-selling albums in mid 2007 and has reached #1 on other popular music charts such as the Billboard Heatseekers Top New Artist Chart. On Friday April 4, the doors at the Freeman Center will open to the public at 6:00 p.m. with the show starting at 7:00 p.m. with an opening band yet to be determined.
