(NEWPORT NEWS, Va.) - Nationally–known scholar and election analyst Norman Ornstein will present The Change Election: "What Will Change, and Who Will Change It, in 2008" at Christopher Newport University's Ferguson Center for the Arts Music & Theatre Hall on Thursday, September 18 at 4:00 p.m. 

 Mr. Ornstein is a resident scholar at the American Enterprise Institute and serves as an election analyst for CBS News. He writes regularly for The New York Times, The Washington Post, Roll Call, and appears regularly on television news programs including "Newshour with Jim Lehrer"  and "Nightline."  He is the author and co-author of numerous books, including The Permanent Campaign and Its Future and Debt and Taxes: How America Got Into Its Budget Mess and What to Do About It.
