CNU’s Ferguson Center for the Arts Announces Single Ticket SaleTickets to all 2009-2010 shows available for purchase Monday, July 27 at 11 a.m! News Release - July 23, 2009 (NEWPORT NEWS, VA) - Celebrated icons of Broadway, comedy, country music, jazz, classical music and dance comprise just a few of the artists on stage during Christopher Newport University’s Ferguson Center for the Arts 2009-2010 Season. The season runs September 19, 2009 through May 8, 2010 with a total of 25 productions. Single tickets to all 2009-2010 shows will be available for purchase by the general public starting Monday, July 27 at 11 a.m. through Ticketmaster.com, via Ticketmaster phone 1(800)745-3000, all Ticketmaster outlets and at the Ferguson Center Ticket Office, located at 1 University Place in Newport News. Ticket office summer hours of operation are 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Subscription series packages are also available for purchase. The Ferguson Center’s four unique subscription packages offer patrons an average of 15% savings versus single ticket pricing. The Bravo Series features virtuosic musicians from around the world including the London Philharmonic Orchestra, the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields and the Moscow State Radio Orchestra. Prices range from $90 - $185 for all three performances. The Ferguson Center Signature Series offers a subscription package to four of the most notable shows of the season: Comedian Jeff Foxworthy, Johnny Mathis Christmas, the renowned London Philharmonic Orchestra and Michael Flatley’s stunning Lord of the Dance. Prices range from $150 – $275 for all four shows. The Dance Series features an international roster of dancers and musicians including Israel Ballet’s acclaimed production of Don Quixote, the Moscow Festival Ballet’s Coppélia, the Virsky Ukrainian National Dance Company and Michael Flatley’s Lord of the Dance. Prices range from $85 - $156 for all four shows. The Flex Series allows patrons to purchase any four or more shows at a $5 ticket discount per show.
